The album marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band as it is the first to be produced by frontman John Rzeznik. Recorded at Dreamland Studios outside of Woodstock, New York, Chaos In Bloom was recorded during the early days of the pandemic. The location, which is as remote as it is rich in historic rock music roots, proved to be the ideal setting. The series features Eppard offering up commentary in regards to his experience recording drum parts for the new Coheed and Cambria album Vaxis - Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind. Along with the confirmation of their 21-date Physical Thrills tour, Silversun Pickups have released a new single featuring bassist Nikki Moninger on vocals. "Alone On A Hill" will be featured on their new album Physical Thrills. The album is set for release on August 19th.
