The KZE Kamper: Taking Local Radio Back to Where the Music Happens

There is something wonderfully backwards about the KZE Kamper. We built something that allows the radio station to go where the music is. The KZE Kamper is a mobile live-music production and broadcast vehicle capable of recording, mixing, transmitting and producing concerts from virtually anywhere we can park it. Inside is much of the same technology that would traditionally be found in a professional broadcast facility or live recording studio: digital audio production, multit...

Rush Reunites: How Paul McCartney Helped Get the Band Back Together

Rush fans north, south and within the U.S. borders rejoiced Monday at the announcement on Instagram that bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson are getting the band back together for a 2026 tour. And they should all send Sir Paul McCartney a thank-you card. But more on that in a minute. Rush’s “50 Something” tour will run from June 7-September 17, beginning in Los Angeles, California, and wrapping up in Cleveland. Lee and Lifeson haven’t toured together in 11 years. The full Rush itinerary is below.  Drummer Anika Nilles will round out the trio, taking over for Neil Peart, who died in 2020. Will Bonnaroo Return To Its Former Glory In 2026?

The iconic Bonnaroo has had its share of challenges in recent years. The question is, after a weather-related cancellation this year, will the modifications they put in place be enough to turn the ship around? Where other events feel like a weekend getaway, Bonnaroo feels like a world you live in, with 24/7 stages, comedy clubs, cinema tents, and stra...

2024 Music Festivals to Look Forward To… When It Cools Off in September

If you're like me, then perhaps this summer is just a bit too fucking hot to do music festivals. Yeah, these record-breaking 2024 heatwaves suck... but never fear, for we at MendoWerks have put together a list of some US-based music festivals to look forward to when it cools off (hopefully) later on this year. My hope is that it'll be safe to go outside again by September... so let's start there. 2024 Music Festivals: September Okay, I lied to you... we're technically starting on August 30th, which is when Rocklahoma kicks off. Rocklahoma is a festival that's always been on my bucket list. They consistently have some of the best hard rock line-ups out there. This year, Rocklahoma has some very special-to-my-Zillennial-heart headliners: Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfo...
