According to Hoffman, the structure was designed to replicate Springsteen’s actual childhood home in Freehold, NJ, where he grew up. For example, the decor included an actual portrait of Springsteen’s aunt, who died when he was a child. Rush fans north, south and within the U.S. borders rejoiced Monday at the announcement on Instagram that bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson are getting the band back together for a 2026 tour. And they should all send Sir Paul McCartney a thank-you card. But more on that in a minute. Rush’s “50 Something” tour will run from June 7-September 17, beginning in Los Angeles, California, and wrapping up in Cleveland. Lee and Lifeson haven’t toured together in 11 years.
