Foo Fighters Announce Greatest Hits Collection

The Foo Fighters have announced a new greatest hits collection and there's no shortage of material to choose from. In the wake of the tragic passing of long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins, the 19-song album will be available on October 28th on Sony Legacy Records. SONY Legacy Records Nirvana disbanded in 1994 after the death of Kurt Cobain. From there, Dave Grohl fielded offers to play drums with a number of high-profile acts. Instead, he entered Robert Lang Studios in Shoreline, Washington, and recorded what would become the Foo Fighters' debut album. This led to a storied career that included 10 studio albums, sold-out tours, a few documentaries, and even a mockumentary. The band has amassed an impressive 15 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 20...

Your Guide to the Virtual 2022 Tribeca Film Festival

The 21st annual Tribeca Film Festival kicked off this week in New York City and they've opted to continue an "at home" component. That's good news for those of us who don't live in the area or couldn't travel in to see some great independent films. There are more screenings for 2022 than last year that are only happening in-person, but Tribeca At Home will still allow you to watch over 100 movies and short films from anywhere in the United States. How to Attend Online There are four ways to buy passes for online screenings and the prices are the same as they were last for last year's Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca At Home Shorts Pass: watch all of the festival's short films for $25. Tribeca At Home Awards Pass: watch any of the films that win awards at the end of the fes...

Travel with Sandra Bullock to ‘The Lost City’ (Review)

The acting career of Sandra Bullock has taken a bit of a back seat in recent years with only a handful of starring roles since 2018's heist caper 'Ocean's 8.' While doing press for 'The Lost City,' she revealed that she's going back on a hiatus to spend time with her children. Presumably that will go into full effect again once she promotes 'Bullet Train' later this year. As proven with films like 'Miss Congeniality' and 'The Heat,' Bullock is at her best when given the space to be funny. Her spot-on comic timing is on display in this ridiculously over-the-top adventure that pairs her with Channing Tatum. Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum star in 'The Lost City' (Paramount Pictures) Bullock stars as Loretta Sage, a burnt-out author who specializes in historical roma...

‘Jackass Forever’ is a Raucous Reunion (Review)

It has been over a decade since 'Jackass 3D' was unleashed on the world. Getting older when your career revolves around pranks and extreme stunts is not exactly ideal. But here we are, twelve years after the last film installment (we're not counting 'Bad Grandpa'). Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy, Weeman, and the whole Jackass crew are certainly older, but you'd be hard-pressed to call them wiser. In 'Jackass Forever,' the crew reassembles alongside new cast members Eric Manaka and Rachel Wolfson. We even get a few celebrity features from the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Tyler the Creator, and Eric André, none of whom are spared from the often humiliating action. Machine Gun Kelly gets slapped down in 'Jackass Forever' (Paramount Pictures) Per usual, th...
