Truth Decay is You Me At Six's eight studio album and you can expect them to embrace a retrospective vibe. They've been around since 2004 and are honoring the scene they helped build while helping to pave a way forward with the new material. Vocalist Josh Franceschi had this to say about Truth Decay. The album generally is the band doing all the things that we as a band think we’re good at and just embellishing them a...

Jimmy Eat World Gets Creative For “Place Your Debts” Music Video

Photo Credit: Jimi Giannatti The Jimmy Eat World resurgence continues with a new song and unique music video release. Frontman Jim Adkins, himself, directed the footage used for "Place Your Debts". The new release follows the successful DIY launch of "Something Loud" this past summer and the acoustic version of the song a few months later. This is the second music video in a row in that Adkins had a large role in video production. With the stripped-down version of "Something Loud" he spent about a week editing the finished product after recording the audio in a single day. The music video for "Place Your Debt"s was a far more complicated project. The footage was shot while on tour throughout the U.S., U.K., and Europe this past summer. Each segment has a different background w...

Dancing On Tables Release Debut Album ‘Colour In The Grey’

Scotlands Dancing On Tables has released its debut album after being named one of "10 Brits To Watch" by Variety Magazine. Colour In The Grey is available now via Enci Records (The Joy Formidable, Kulick, Fences). Jenn Curtis Photography The album was written after the band had spent most of the year on the road but found themselves isolated when the pandemic set in. They recorded remotely and ended up with more than 70 songs to choose from for the project. Dancing On Tables had this to say when asked about Colour In Grey. It feels like the last 3 years of our life have all been building up to this album. You can hear the journey that we’ve been on as a group as you go through the tracks, with stories of love, happiness, loss and frustration sang on top of a sound that we have ...

5 Fan Reactions To How Expensive Blink 182 Concert Tickets Are

The internet has been buzzing since we learned that Tom Delong has returned to Blink 182. There's a new song "Edging" to be excited about and a world tour planned for 2023 & 2024. One area that has fans a little confused is ticket prices. From what we've gathered, many of the extremely high prices are folks (and bots?) who are attempting to re-sell tickets obtained through the official pre-sale. Tickets went on sale to the general public on Monday (10/17) at 10 AM. Will you be attending any of Blink 182s upcoming reunion shows? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below. Let's hear what the internet has to say about the ticket issue. 1. I've seen a few people on social media complaining about how expensive blink-182 tickets are for their upcoming tour. I gu...

Maika Monroe Shines in ‘Watcher’ (Review)

Maika Monroe first caught my attention with a double shot of incredible performances in 2014's 'The Guest' and 'It Follows.' She's had a little less success with finding the right roles since then, but a recent binge of scary movies for October leads me to recommend this thriller that she stars in that was written and directed by Chloe Okuno. Maika Monroe stars in 'Watcher' (IFC Midnight) In 'Watcher,' Monroe plays Julia, a woman who has relocated to Bucharest with her husband Francis (Karl Glusman) for his new job. Mostly left to her own devices, Julia is excited for her new surroundings, but stuck in a manner of being unable to communicate and feeling isolated. A slate of murders in the area start to permeate daily life and before long Julia becomes convinced that a man w...

Nashville’s Briston Maroney Drops Two-Side Single

Nashville's Briston Maroney has served up a double helping of music that is new to fans but that he wrote nearly five years ago. It certainly appears as if both "Oregon" and "Harvard" have aged like a fine wine and are worth checking out on your preferred streaming platform. Photo Credit: Drew Bauml Now performing in front of large crowds at places like Bonnaroo and the Firefly Music Festival, Maroney has paid his dues. Earlier in his career, he made a name for himself in the Nashville music scene performing DIY house parties. This gave him the opportunity to build connections directly with his fans at these intimate shows. "Oregon" and "Harvard" were produced by Caleb Wright and Jake Luppen of Hippo Campus. Thoughts On "Oregon" This is honestly an old song that I never th...

7 Rock Videos With More Than A Billion Views On YouTube

Audioslave's "Like A Stone" is the latest rock video to pass the coveted one billion view mark on YouTube. The last video that received a good deal of fanfare in marking the achievement was Evanescence with "Bring Me To Life". Fronted by Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and featuring Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave burst onto the scene in 2002 with their self titled album. The album would go on to sell more than three million copies and features "Show Me How To Live", "Cochise" and the breakout hit "Like A Stone". The band would go on to release two more albums before Cornell left the group in 2007. Audioslave reunited in 2017 and just as the possibility of more music from the talented foursome seemed like a reality, Chris Cornell passe...
