At just 21 years old, Los Angeles-based LO LA has already been performing for more than a decade. The talented singer/songwriter is coming into her own with the release of the new single "Toxic Love" on Valentines' Day. The mid-tempo track is described as a new "heartbreak anthem". It's the perfect song for anyone who's been burned by an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend. "Toxic Love" came together quickly for LO LA. Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind is due June 24th and the limited edition box set is stacked with cool stuff. According to a recent press release, the album is a return to The Amory Wars. Each of their albums, with the exception of The Color Before The Sun, tells a chapter in the saga. This new album is part two of a five-part story arc. New Jersey-based singer/songwriter Katie Henry will be releasing her new blues album this month. On My Way is set to be released on January 28th on Ruf Records. The highly anticipated album is a follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2018 debut release High Road. Having been compared to Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin at their most magnetic, the future is bright for Katie. On My Way is a very personal album that was recorded in May of last year in Brooklyn, New York's Degraw Sound.
