Rescheduled Dropkick Murphys/Rancid Tour Dates Released

Two punk rock icons are teaming up for an epic jaunt across the country. Dropkick Murphys and Rancid will embark on the Boston to Berkeley II tour this August. The co-headlining run was supposed to take place last year but the world stood still in the face of the pandemic. Tickets are on sale Friday and will surely sell out across the country. Both Dropkick Murphys and Rancid last toured together in 2017 and will be taking The Bronx on the road with them this time around. Black Note Graffiti fuses prog metal with alternative rock vibes. They're set to drop a brand new music video for their hard driving single 'Knights'. The Ann Arbor, MI quartet will unveil the project on June 18. The track is featured on their new EP Volume III Rise. The band consists of Gabrielle Bryant (vocals/keys), Kris Keller (guitar/vocals), Kurt Keller (drums), Ricardo Ortiz (vocals/guitar) and Adam Nine (bass). Bryant was behind the concept for the video. The Flaming Lips are a sight to behold. If you've never experienced them live in concert, you might want to dip your toe in that pool. The band is set to release a collection of music that was once only available to friends and a handful of radio program directors. The Soft Bulletin Companion was originally released in 1999 as a promo-only CD to accompany the band's Soft Bulletin campaign. The album features previously unreleased material, outtakes, b-sides, and more. Hard to believe it's been 20 years. Experimental alt/rockers Muse are set to reflect upon the success of their sophomore album release Origin of Symmetry. The new XX Anniversary Remixx Edition will be released on June 18. The album originally topped the charts in the UK in July of 2001 but wasn't available in the United States until four years later due to some issues with the record label. By then US fans were wrapping their heads around songs from the Absolution album which included break-out singles 'Time Is Running Out' and 'Hysteria'. The iconic Lollapalooza Festival was forced to cancel last year in the face of the pandemic. They've come roaring back to life with a lineup announcement and ticket information. Set to take place July 29 through August 1 in Grant Park in Chicago, tickets are on sale now. The four-day event will feature big names like Foo Fighters, Post Malone, and Miley Cyrus.
