It's been five years but Scottish rock icons Biffy Clyro are back in America for a series of high-octane concerts. After opening stadium dates for the likes of Foo Fighters and Muse, the band has earned a reputation for their impressive live shows. But it's not really about who they've opened up for, they've amassed a worldwide fan base on their own. Biffy Clyro's tour kicks off at the House of Blues in Chicago on Sunday. Highlights include shows at New York City's Irving Plaza, Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, and The Fillmore in San Franciso. Meat Puppets Set For Live Album Release, Prep For Mudhoney Tour Dates

Things are heating up for iconic rockers The Meat Puppets. On May 6th, they're set to release a new live album Meat Puppets Live Manchester 2019. The following week they'll kick off a string of tour dates with Mudhoney. Our only complaint is that they won't be hitting more cities together. In 2019 The Meat Puppets hit the road with three original members. Curt Kirkwood (guitar), Cris Kirkwood (bass), and Derrick Bostrom (drums) were joined by Elmo Kirkwood (guitar) and Ron Stabinsky (keyboards). The tour was not without challenges. Dates are their current tour are selling out. Their new single "Head Right" is heating up on radio stations. And they've just announced a summer tour with Mt. Joy. Things are definitely headed in the right direction for Tulsa Oklahoma natives Widerado. Now based in Los Angeles, it's been two years since Wilderado headlined a nationwide tour. Pent-up demand has resulted in sold-out shows across the country while many have been moved to larger venues. The tour is in support of their self-titled debut album which was released last fall. You may know them from their double platinum-selling "My Own Worst Enemy". Well, the band Lit has begun a new chapter with new music, an album, and a red hot spring tour on the way. It's their first tour in nearly three years. They've tapped Heart Attack Man and Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts to open up the shows. The band is currently in the studio working on what will become their seventh studio album. When asked about the new material, vocalist A. Sound on Sound Festival is set to take place on September 24 and 25. Dave Matthews + Tim Reynolds, The Lumineers, and Stevie Nicks will headline with a deep lineup to compliment them. Perhaps I'm a glutton for punishment. Despite it all, I've never been able to cut Woody Allen out of my cinephile life. Many have and I completely respect that, but I've had an entire shelf of his films in my movie collection for decades.
