L.S. Dunes Released an Epic Video for “Grey Veins” + US Summer Tour Dates

L.S. Dunes, a 2000’s emo kid’s dream “anti-supergroup,” just released a new music video for “Grey Veins,” a song from their 2022 debut album, Past Lives. The post-hardcore band’s debut was met with critical acclaim–and this music video is another testament to their boundless creativity.

Saturated with color, and a fun, satirical cinematic call-outs, this Lego-filled “Grey Veins” video is a must-watch for post-hardcore newcomers and L.S. Dunes fans alike.

It’s honestly compelling–and the music is pretty great, too.

This video appears to have been a family effort– check the credits; it looks like Frank Iero’s kids were involved!

Precious.

Meet L.S. Dunes

This group is made up of vocalist Anthony Green (Circa Survive, Saosin, The Sound of Animals Fighting), guitarist Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), guitarist Travis Stever (Coheed and Cambria), bassist Tim Payne (Thursday), and drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday). The band first formed early on in the COVID-19 pandemic; Anthony Green was looking for people to make music with. (Project working title: “Dad Bods”). Eventually, this led to work on their debut album, Past Lives.

In 2022, L.S. Dunes formally launched. They first appeared on a Riot Fest poster. Frank Iero then confirmed the details. At this time, the band also released their first single, “Permanent Rebellion,” via Fantasy Records. The band’s first live show was during Riot Fest 2022, which was immediately followed by a U.S. Tour. in November, they released their electrifying, yet emotional debut album, Past Lives.

L.S. Dunes then opened 2023 with a short UK tour (Glasgow, London, Manchester, Birmingham) in January. They will be taking the stage at Riot Fest and touring the U.S. once again in 2023 as well.
