Memphis May Fire shared a special new music video for their song “Misery” today. This song comes from their album, Remade in Misery, which was released via Rise Records last year. Interestingly enough, “Misery” was not one of the nine singles that Memphis May Fire released in anticipation of the album–but was one of two ‘surprises’ that awaited fans on release day.

Speaking on the song and its accompanying music video, Memphis May Fire vocalist Matty Mullins says:
“With ‘Misery’ being the song we named the album after, it obviously holds a lot of weight. It’s raw and honest, and it’s the song that I felt tied the whole body of work together. The video is unlike anything we’ve ever done before. We shot inside of a one-of-a-kind 4D capture machine in Atlanta and it was a WILD experience. I am so stoked to give this song another push and for everyone to see the video!”
Honestly, we’ve been loving the prolonged post-release campaigns that are coming from some of these post-hardcore/metalcore bands lately– if the music is good, why not let it shine for longer than a few weeks?

It may have turned a year old, but Remade in Misery is worth going back to.

In less than two weeks, Memphis May Fire is sharing the misery with America.
Kicking off their tour in Hampton, New Hampshire, the band will be hitting up concert halls and festival stages alike all summer long. For all regular tour dates, they will be joined by Norma Jean, Secrets, and Saul.
