Orange County, CA native Zebrahead has been bringing its unique blend of punk, metal, and devil-may-care grooves to the masses for years. Their latest single “Middle Seat Blues” is no exception.
At the helm of Zebrahead is vocalist/rapper Ali Tabatabaee and vocalist/guitarist Adrian Estrella, who is also the band’s frontman. Rounding out the lineup are bassist Ben Osmundson, drummer Ed Udhus, and guitarist Dan Palmer.
When asked about the meaning behind “Middle Seat Blues,” Estrella had this to say. “It’s about surrounding yourself with quality, not quantity. Not everyone around you has your best interests in mind.” Osmundson added, “It’s a song that combines a bit of metal, a bit of laid-back groove, and splashes a bit of punk on top. Hard to imagine right? Well, give ‘Middle Seat Blues’ a listen.”
