Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has turned to social media for help finding a stolen car. According to a recent Instagram post on his personal account, Armstrong pleads with fans to reach out to local authorities if they have any tips as to the location of this classic automobile. The missing 1962 Chevy II is 'near and dear' to all their hearts. The car was in the Green Day family for more than 30 years according to his post. Green Day’s Kerplunk Album Turns 30

The album that set the table for Green Day's Dookie is celebrating a big anniversary. Kerplunk was the bands' second studio release and was their last for independent label Look Out Records. Released on December 17th, 1991 Kerplunk was the first to feature Tre' Cool on drums along with founding members Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt. The album is 12 tracks but features four tunes from their Sweet Children EP. Punk rock icons Green Day are digging into the archives and releasing a collection of recordings from the BBC's legendary Maida Vale Studios. The BBC Sessions will showcase recordings from 1994, 1996, 1998, and 2001. The collection marks the first time these recordings will be properly mastered for official release. The first session which took place in 1994, occurred just months after Green Day dropped their seminal Dookie album. The band was raw and raucous and ripped through a four-song set that included "She," "When I Come Around," "Basket Case," and "2000 Light Years."
