Alt-Rock Trio Capital Theatre Release Video For “Fait Accompli”

New Zealand-based alt-rock trio Capital Theatre has released its debut album. Their captivating new music video accompanies the buzzworthy single "Fait Accompli". This edgy yet melodic band is one to keep an eye on, we're expecting big things to come. Photo Credit: Robert M. Knight Capital Theatre was formed in 2019 by longtime friends Adam Stevenson (vocals, guitar, piano), Paul Reid (drums, vocals), and Roy Oliver (guitar, vocals). They've got some heavy hitters in their corner. The new album A Hero's Journey was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Mike Clink. He's known for his work with bands like Guns N' Roses, Megadeth and Steve Vai. The album's lyrical content is based on the mythological book The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell. Wolf Rd Drops Pop-Punk Anthem “Way Down”

Wolf Rd is back with a banger of a new single in the form of "Way Down". The band just celebrated the single drop with a big release show at Chicago's Bottom Lounge. Photo Credit: Kelley Curran "Way Down" taps into a little bit of everything I like about the pop-punk genre. It has catchy melodies, heavy guitar breakdowns, and lyrics with depth. The song is about picking up the pieces after you've had your heart broken. Frontman Chris Hoffmann had this to say about the track. "Way Down" is fast and dancey and energetic because it’s not about staying down when you feel bad – it’s a song about pulling yourself up, putting yourself back out there, and being determined not to let your past or other peoples’ opinions determine how you’re going to live your life. Goodbye, and good ridd...

Fitz And The Tantrums Bring The Summer Vibes On “Sway”

Fitz and the Tantrums are back with a new single called "Sway". The upbeat track is their first new material in three years and is just oozing with summer vibes. The accompanying music video is a feel-good nod to the 1950s. While the band plans to release more new music later this year, the new track sets the table nicely for a busy summer tour schedule. Through June 25th, Fitz and the Tantrums are on a co-headlining tour with St. Paul & the Broken Bones. From there they've got about a month off before heading back out with Andy Grammer beginning July 29th. The co-headlining tour will run through an August 27th show at the legendary Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Magnolia Park’s ‘Heart Eater’ EP Is A Pop Punk Masterpiece

The new EP from Magnolia Park is out now. Heart Eater is an action-packed four-song EP loaded with special guests. The only complaint that comes to mind is the fact I didn't discover these guys sooner. Magnolia Park first popped on my radar in March when vocalist Joshua Roberts teamed up with 408 on the pop-punk anthem "Mark Hoppus". The song made some waves even catching the attention of the Blink 182 vocalist/bassist himself on Twitter. Leading up to the release of Heart Eater, they dropped singles with members of Bad Suns, Mayday Parade, and former skateboarder/YouTube star Chad Tepper. Fast forward to Friday and the release of the EP, they dropped their strongest track to date. "Serious" is the one song on the EP that doesn't have a guest appearance. And just goes to show they'...

Mothica’s New Album Nocturnal Due July 1st

Alt-pop artist Mothica's highly anticipated sophomore album is set for release. Nocturnal will be available worldwide on July 1st. Along with the announcement she's dropped two new singles simultaneously. She'll be heading out on tour with Coheed & Cambria this summer but more on that in a moment. Mothica released her debut album Blue Hour in 2020. The project was inspired by the sky's final moments before darkness. She followed that up with an EP in 2021 called forever fifteen. According to a recent press release, on Nocturnal she focuses on nighttime and her strange relationship with sleep. A lot of the songs touch on darkness and being self-destructive. "Blue Hour’ was a transitional moment where I got sober. I was more of an emotional wreck, trying to figure out my life...

Blue October Fall Tour Dates Announced

An initial run of Blue October fall tour dates has been announced. If your city isn't on the list, don't fret. Additional shows are expected to be announced sometime soon. In the meantime, pre-sales are underway and VIP packages are now available. This new tour follows a summer run of concerts performing with Goo Goo Dolls. A collaboration that was supposed to happen in 2020, was rescheduled until 2021 and eventually moved to the summer of 2022 for obvious reasons. The tour kicks off July 15th in Idaho and will run through September 24th in Buffalo. Closing night will be a big hometown show for the Goo Goo Dolls. From there, Blue October headline shows will pick up nearly a month later. Blue October's latest album This Is What I Live For spawned the Top 10 hit "Oh My My" and st...
