K.Flay is gearing up for her MONO: Live in Stereo 2024 North American Headline Tour. The tour will kick off in March and will see the talented artist perform a series of underplays in seven major cities. And in a unique twist, each stop will feature two intimate nights. These cities include Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco.
The tour is in support of her recently released full-length studio album MONO which dropped on September 15th. The new album marks her first release under a new deal with Giant Music. Along with her high-energy performances, K.Flay is known for her multi-platinum status and two Grammy nominations. She’s been on the road in the EU and UK and is set to join Arkells for a few dates in Canada in November. However, her focus is firmly on 2024, when she embarks on her own headlining tour.
Life Changing Situation
“MONO” is K.Flay’s fifth full-length album and a significant milestone in her career. Notably, it’s her first album since experiencing sudden and complete deafness in her right ear at the end of the previous summer, a condition her doctors have deemed permanent.
This life-altering event influenced the 14-song project, which delves into the depths of her psyche, exploring themes of loss and transformation. K.Flay believes that her profound sensory change has given her a fresh perspective on her music, effectively returning her to a beginner’s mindset. She co-produced MONO and enlisted the expertise of Paul Meany (Twenty One Pilots, Shania Twain) as executive producer.
