Green Day, Billie Eilish & More Set To Headline Life Is Beautiful Festival

The Life is Beautiful Music & Arts Festival has announced a stacked lineup in what is the most high-profile concert announcement since the outset of the pandemic. Green Day, Billie Eilish, and Tame Impala are set to headline with performances from A$AP Rocky, Haim, Illenium, and many more planned. According to an interview with Forbes, organizers are making safety for fans a top priority. The Las Vegas-based festival got its start in 2013 and by 2019 was one of the world's highest-grossing festivals. Canceled in 2020 as a result of COVID-19 they're looking to make a roaring comeback September 17-19. The festival takes place over an 18 block area in downtown Las Vegas. The Grammy Awards are set for this weekend and producers have just announced a stacked lineup of performers. Airing Sunday on CBS at 8 PM and streaming on the new Paramount+, music's biggest night will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah. Connecticut-based Telefunken Elektroakustik marks 20 years in business in the US after reviving the high-end microphone brand around since 1903. Owned and operated by Toni Fishman, he acquired the rights to the name and iconic diamond logo in 2001 after purchasing a mic for his recording studio sometime the year before. According to a recent press release, the original ELA M 251 he bought needed a new polar pattern switch, a common issue with that type of microphone. When Fishman was able to reverse engineer the component he was able to provide a fix for other users. From there he ambitiously set out to remake the entire microphone and over the next two years meticulously recreated the parts needed to start producing the mic with his growing team.
