Winners of the 42nd Blues Awards Set To Be Announced Sunday

The 42nd Blues Awards presented by The Blues Foundation will take place on Sunday via virtual celebration. Tune in starting at 5 PM EST for special guest appearances and surprise performances along with the awards. The show will be hosted by Big Llou and will feature winners across 25 different categories. Rick Estrin & the Nightcats, Sugar Ray & the Bluetones, Shemekia Copeland, and John Nemeth all lead the way in nominations. For a look at all of the nominees, check here. Located at 6881 Alta Loma Terrace, the home is a major fixer-upper as it's fallen into disrepair. The 2,500 square foot pad is part of R&R history as much of Nirvana's final album In Utero was reportedly written there. Burning Man 2021 Cancelled

The iconic Burning Man Festival has been canceled. Organizers will instead focus on the 2022 event due to the lingering pandemic. Set to take place in August, the event draws thousands of people from around the world each year. The first Burning Man took place in San Franciso in the mid-1980s and has grown into an event attended by nearly 80,000 people in 2019. The 2020 edition of Burning Man was also canceled.
