The highly anticipated new album Heroes from The Midnight is due September 9th. Featuring the new single "Heartbeat", the project will complete a trilogy of album releases that began in 2018. Each of the three albums in the series has a theme. Kids is thought of as self-knowledge, Monsters released in 2020 is self-love while Heroes is empathy. Fitz and the Tantrums are back with a new single called "Sway". The upbeat track is their first new material in three years and is just oozing with summer vibes. The new EP from Magnolia Park is out now. Heart Eater is an action-packed four-song EP loaded with special guests. The only complaint that comes to mind is the fact I didn't discover these guys sooner. Magnolia Park first popped on my radar in March when vocalist Joshua Roberts teamed up with 408 on the pop-punk anthem "Mark Hoppus". Alt-pop artist Mothica's highly anticipated sophomore album is set for release. Nocturnal will be available worldwide on July 1st. Along with the announcement she's dropped two new singles simultaneously. She'll be heading out on tour with Coheed & Cambria this summer but more on that in a moment. Mothica released her debut album Blue Hour in 2020. The project was inspired by the sky's final moments before darkness. She followed that up with an EP in 2021 called forever fifteen.
