Slightly Stoopid and Sublime With Rome will join forces for the first time ever in their Summertime 2023 tour. They’ll be stopping at outdoor amphitheaters and select festivals across the United States. Atmosphere and The Movement will open up and serves as special guests on tour.
The connection between headliners dates back to Sublime’s original frontman, Bradley Nowell. He signed Miles and Kyle from Slightly Stoopid when they were teenagers. They went on to release their self-titled debut albumin 1996 on Skunk Records.
The Summertime 2023 tour kicks off on July 6 in Auburn, WA, and will visit venues like Shoreline Amphitheatre, Walnut Creek, and Jones Beach. The tour culminates in West Palm Beach, FL at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre on September 3. The official artist presale is underway now. A limited number of “early bird” tickets are available in each market for $30. Local presales will start on March 9, and the general on-sale gets underway on March 10 at 10 AM local time.
Getting To Know The Bands
Slightly Stoopid was founded by Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald in 1995. They’re a multi-genre fusion of rock, reggae, blues, hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk. The band honors its diversity of influences and mentors, creating a unique sound that embodies the legacy of the Southern California sound. The band has built a legacy for itself while continuously expanding in diversity and repertoire. They’ve performed at sold-out headlining dates across the world and have appeared at marquee events like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and New Orleans Jazz Fest.
Sublime With Rome was formed in 2010 by Rome Ramirez and Eric Wilson. They’ve carried on the legacy of the legendary Sublime breathing new life into classics like “Wrong Way,” “Santeria,” and “What I Got.” The band released its debut album, Yours Truly, in July of 2011, and has been a mainstay on the concert circuit ever since.
This tour is an event that fans won’t want to miss. Slightly Stoopid and Sublime With Rome are both iconic bands with legendary sounds, and their collaboration on this tour is a first.
