The Von Tramps Drop Infectious New Single & Album Called GO

The Von Tramps is an up-and-coming punk rock band formed out of Minneapolis. One doesn't often immediately associate punk rock with the Twin Cities. But if The Von Tramps have their way, that could all change. After 2018s successful debut album The Future is Female and the follow-up EP Sun's Out: Strung Out!, they've come roaring back with 12 high-energy tracks on GO. The Von Tramps pack a real punch on this new concept album. Jenna Enemy's powerful vocals are complimented by Chelsea Oxborough's guitar playing and pounding bass from Krissandra Anfinson. We find ourselves gravitating to the title track and we're hearing hints of early No Doubt on "Your House". So...

Graeme James Contemplates Life’s Cycles On New Album Seasons

International indie-folk artist Graeme James has released a visually stunning music video to accompany his new single "All the Lives We Ever Lived". On his new album, the accomplished singer/songwriter takes listeners on a journey through the cycles of life. Seasons is available now everywhere you listen to music. Comprised of 12 new songs, Seasons is a concept album that starts with a spring theme and cycles through to winter. Not only did he produce the album, but he also played a majority of the instruments. While inviting friends to perform piano, horn, percussion, and some vocals, James took care of the rest himself. He got his start training as a classical violinist as a child. A series of injuries forced him to make other plans. James would earn a reputation as a talented s...

Judah & The Lion Are Back With New Album Revival In June

It's been nearly three years since the release of Judah & The Lion's last album. They return on June 10th with a new LP called. Revival. The result of their efforts in the studio is an album that shows off their growth as songwriters and performers. Revival was recorded at Echo Mountain in Ashville, North Carolina. Members Judah Akers and Brian Macdonald found themselves attempting to recapture the innocence of their youth through music. After undergoing a lineup change last year they approached the recording of the new album by inviting longtime friends and touring musicians into the fold. The experience solidified Akers' and Macdonalds' partnership as a songwriting duo and added an element of freedom to the process that had been missing in recent years. Much soul searchi...

12 Rock Videos On YouTube With More Than 1 Billion Views

Evanescence is the latest band to achieve a once-unthinkable milestone. "Bring Me To Live" has crossed the one billion view mark on YouTube. And we'd be lying if we said we weren't responsible for at least 267 of those views over the last few years. Here's a deeper dive where we take a look at 12 rock videos on YouTube that have been viewed more than a billion times. Sure bands like Bon Jovi and AC/DC have hit the mark but that's to be expected. Pop stars? Sure, a lot of them have more than a billion. And of course, in researching for this article we came across the fact that the first act to achieve this accomplishment was Psy with the phenomenon "Gangnam Style" (yes we can do the dance still). So congrats to Amy Lee and company from Evanescence, you've entered into a pretty ...

‘Jackass Forever’ is a Raucous Reunion (Review)

It has been over a decade since 'Jackass 3D' was unleashed on the world. Getting older when your career revolves around pranks and extreme stunts is not exactly ideal. But here we are, twelve years after the last film installment (we're not counting 'Bad Grandpa'). Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy, Weeman, and the whole Jackass crew are certainly older, but you'd be hard-pressed to call them wiser. In 'Jackass Forever,' the crew reassembles alongside new cast members Eric Manaka and Rachel Wolfson. We even get a few celebrity features from the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Tyler the Creator, and Eric André, none of whom are spared from the often humiliating action. Machine Gun Kelly gets slapped down in 'Jackass Forever' (Paramount Pictures) Per usual, t...
