Detroit’s own Visitor is firing on all cylinders with the release of their new single “Intheend”. The song appears on their new EP Greetings From Titan which is available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music now.
The alt-rock four-some consists of talented frontman Randy Gray (lyrics, vocals). While Steve Dombroski plays guitar with Dustin Buckley and William Pierce hold down the rhythm section. “Intheend” was produced by the highly respected Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric). Visitor found themselves right at home at the legendary Pearl Sound Studios.
The opening crunchy guitar riff gives way to melodic verses and a soaring chorus. When asked about the meaning behind the track, guitarist Dombroski had this to say.
“Intheend” is about the battle with your own mind that prevents you from winning the war. It’s the idea that the boxer’s main opponent in the ring is not their foe, it’s their own mind. That battle is an immense one sometimes the hardest to overcome. It takes confidence and letting go of your own pride and ego in order for you to come out victorious. When you’re not able to do that, the realization hits you that this is my end.”
