Jack White Debuts Heartfelt New Single & Music Video For “Love Is Selfish”

Jack White is as versatile as they come. One minute loud and raucous, the next quiet and introspective. He's set to have a productive year with two solo albums slated for release in 2022. After coming out hard with the first single "Taking Me Back" from his new album Fear of the Dawn (due in April), "Love Is Selfish" puts his softer side on display. The latter of which will be featured on his planned summer release, Entering Heaven Alive. This is the kind of material I'm looking for from White. Sure he's most often at his best with loud distorted guitars but he's got a softer side. 'Love Is Selfish' is just him and his guitar with some light percussion in the background to help keep the train on the tracks. You can check it out below after its debut or on your favorite streaming platf...

When you combine the lush vocal harmonies, sun-kissed songwriting, and versatile guitar work of K.P. and Johnny Hawthorn, the result is something special. Spending time in both Nashville and Los Angeles to record the album, it also serves as a nod to both sides of the group's geographic and musical roots. K.P and Johnny came together to form The HawThornes with accomplished careers of their own already under their belt. K.P., a nationally tour artist with CALICO and her own solo work, and Hawthorn, a multi-instrumentalist who'd shared the stage with the ...
