The Long Wait For New Offspring Music Is Officially Over

Rumors have been swirling about a new album from The Offspring for nearly three years. The wait has come to an end with the release of the up-tempo 'Let The Bad Times Roll'. Along with the release of the new single, the full album is set for an April 16 release. The genre bending punk rockers formed in the mid-80s but it wasn't until their 1994 breakthrough album Smash did they become a near house hold name. Recent years have seen the band sell off the rights to their music for a cool $30 million and the unfortunate departure of longtime bassist Greg K. Dexter and Noodles will carry the band into their very respectable fifth decade of making music. Rockers Kings County Drop Intense Flock Of Seagulls Cover

Florida based rock band Kings County have given new life to a song that helped define a generation by putting their own spin on A Flock of Seagulls 'I Ran (So Far Away)'. The original was released in 1982 at the height of the MTV era and was the second single off their self titled album. Kings County have redefined the track with an exceptional hard hitting music video and single release. The band is made up of Rob Dexter (Vocals, Bass), Steve Bell (Guitars, Vocals), Joe Lopez (Drums) and Bill Kania (Guitars, Vocals). On February 4th the new song 'black nova' was released and it's the first taste of new music from the band since 2012's Speak In Code album. The grim value EP is set to be released on June 25th on Velocity Records.
