UK Alt-Rockers The Subways Release “You Kill My Cool”

The Subways are back with a vengeance. The UK alt-rockers have just released their new single "You Kill My Cool." The track is a fierce, guitar-driven rocker that will get your blood pumping. With its catchy chorus and pounding beat, "You Kill My Cool" is sure to be a crowd favorite. The band is set to include the track on their new album due this fall. The Subways debuted in 2005 when the average age of its members was just 18 years old. Veterans of the scene now, they've got four studio albums under their belt. Highlights include shows at New York City's Irving Plaza, Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, and The Fillmore in San Franciso. WØLFDARLING Confront Mortality On New Single “ghost empire”

Genre-bending WØLFDARLING has returned with the release of a brand new single. "ghost empire" is a strong follow up to the previously released "send the sun my way". The introspective mid-tempo alt-rock tune is sure to evoke strong emotions from the listener when considering the intense subject matter. According to frontman Sam Urich, he started writing the song as he was enduring a challenging time in his life nearly a decade ago. He tapped into the raw emotions that go along with confronting a life-threatening illness all while dealing with the end of a serious relationship. You can hear my anguish, as well as my rage and terror when realizing that I was weakening by the day and had no idea how to keep myself from dying. I was sitting across from death, looking into&...

Museum Of Light Drop “Soft Openings” Single

Seattle-based alt-rockers Museum of Light is prepping for the release of their debut album. After hearing their new single "Soft Openings", we can't wait to hear more from the band. Having just signed to Spartan Records, Horizon is set for release on June 10th. Museum of Light is made up of Ted Alverez on guitar and vocals, Rob Smith on drums, and Ezekiel Rudick on bass. Several things jumped out at me when listening to "Soft Openings". First of all, it was a one listen song, it didn't take much to get warmed up. Some tunes can take a few listens before I latch on to them. This one, I enjoyed right out of the gate. Second of all, I really enjoyed how they were able to balance both heavy and ambient tones. You can expect aggressive riffs mixing in with some dreamy vibes. Turns ...

After 2018s successful debut album The Future is Female and the follow-up EP Sun's Out: Strung Out!, they've come roaring back with 12 high-energy tracks on GO. The Von Tramps pack a real punch on this new concept album. Jenna Enemy's powerful vocals are complimented by Chelsea Oxborough's guitar playing and pounding bass from Krissandra Anfinson. Evanescence is the latest band to achieve a once-unthinkable milestone. "Bring Me To Live" has crossed the one billion view mark on YouTube.
