Modest Mouse Return After Six Years With A New Single & Album Announcement

With three gold records under their belt, could Modest Mouse earn a fourth? Their new song ‘We Are Between’ dropped Wednesday and is causing quite a stir. Is anyone else hearing The Cure guitar vibes on the track?

According to a post on their social media pages, the new album is called The Golden Casket, and it’s due out on June 25.

Modest Mouse formed in the early 90s, it was their 2004 release Good News For People Who Love Bad News, that made them a household name with singles like ‘Float On’ and ‘Missed The Boat’.
