PODCAST: The Subways Revisit ‘The OC’ + Announce Album Release

British alt-rockers The Subways recently appeared on a popular podcast recounting their appearance on the FOX television show The OC. Welcome To The OC, Bitches is hosted by Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke. The podcast takes the audience back to the early 2000s when The OC was one of the biggest hits on television. The Subways are part of an exclusive club of musicians who performed on the show. The Bait Shop was a fictional venue that also saw performances from The Killers, Modest Mouse, Death Cab For Cutie, and others. Billy Lunn (vocals, guitar) and Charlotte Cooper (vocals, bass) appeared with Bilson and Clarke to talk about their experience on The OC and what they have coming next. Modest Mouse Return After Six Years With A New Single & Album Announcement

With three gold records under their belt, could Modest Mouse earn a fourth? Their new song 'We Are Between' dropped Wednesday and is causing quite a stir. Is anyone else hearing The Cure guitar vibes on the track? According to a post on their social media pages, the new album is called The Golden Casket, and it's due out on June 25. Modest Mouse formed in the early 90s, it was their 2004 release Good News For People Who Love Bad News, that made them a household name with singles like 'Float On' and 'Missed The Boat'.
