Nashville-based singer/songwriter Ian Flanigan is back with a brand new single. “Last Name On It” is a fun upbeat country tune that has the potential to be one of this year’s signature songs.
Flanigan has been honing his craft on the road for the last decade. His iconic whiskey-smoked voice and memorable performances have played a big part in earning fans across the country.
In 2020 he was spotted by a talent scout from NBC’s The Voice. This led to his first network television appearances and exposure to a whole new audience.
Selected as a member of Team Blake, Flanigan would go on to place third in the popular primetime singing competition. The experience led to the debut single “Grow Up” featuring Blake Shelton himself.
New Album Coming Later This Year
Flanigan followed up this success with the release of “Under A Southern Sky“. It’s a perfect soundtrack for hometown summer nights around a campfire. His authentic talent and unique voice shine through in the song.
This ultimately leads us to the release of “Last Name On It’. There’s a chance it’ll end up being one of those songs you hear at most of the weddings you go to. And that’s not a bad thing at all. Flanigan was recently quoted as saying he hopes it brings you together with the one you love.
Fans can expect a new album later this year. Set to be released on Reviver Records, Flanigan is in good company as the label is home to a number of talented acts. In the meantime, as work on the album progresses, he’s kept busy with a number of performances. He’s recently been spotted at CMA Country Fest and supporting artists like Trace Adkins and Chris Janson.
