Renowned rockers Asking Alexandria has just unveiled their latest offering, “Dark Void.” The track is a tantalizing taste of what’s to come from their upcoming full-length studio album. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the album drop this fall via Better Noise Music.
“Dark Void” provides a sonic experience that expresses the contrasting emotions of melancholy and aspiration found in our modern-day lives. According to guitarist Ben Bruce, the lyrics of “Dark Void” delve into the internal struggles many faces in an increasingly dark world. Bruce explains, “With the world seemingly getting darker and darker, it’s easy to see why so many of us struggle with anxiety, depression, and loneliness. This song is about fighting those demons that live in your head and trying your hardest to be your own savior. Finding that inner strength to pull yourself out of the darkness.”
This overarching theme will be explored throughout the entirety of Asking Alexandria’s forthcoming album. And will serve as a reminder that despite our individual struggles and hurdles, we all possess the inner strength to overcome them. The album aims to provide solace and support, reminding listeners that they are not alone in their battles.
Getting To Know Asking Alexandria
The band consists of Ben Bruce on lead guitars, Danny Worsnop on vocals, and Cameron Liddell on rhythm guitars. Sam Bettley on bass and James Cassells on drums hold down the rhythm section. Asking Alexandria has garnered a dedicated global following through its relentless touring and captivating performances at renowned rock festivals across the globe.
They’re set to embark on a European tour this summer before gracing American soil in July for three festival appearances. Catch them at Rock Fest (WI) on July 14, Inkcarceration Festival (OH) on July 15, and Louder Than Life (KY) on July 21.
Since joining forces with Better Noise Music in 2021, Asking Alexandria has achieved a remarkable level of success.
