Americana singer/songwriter Roger Street Friedman will release his new album Love Hope Trust on Friday. The new project is a continuation of the multi-album collaboration with Grammy winner Larry Campbell.
Keep your ears peeled for Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne, Phil Lesh) on keyboards, Teresa Williams and Lucy Kaplansky on backing vocals, and five-time Grammy winner Gil Goldstein on accordion. Campbell had this to say about his experience with production on Love Hope Trust.
Making this record with Roger Street Friedman was one of the most fulfilling experiences I’ve had as a producer. Great songs, well-crafted lyrics and melodies, vibrant performances, and the creative inspiration that sprang from that made it a joy to show up at the studio every day.

Roger Street Friedman’s Love Hope Trust
Friedman began compiling material for Love Hope Trust during the pandemic and has been fine-tuning it since. The music is inspired by classic artists like Cat Stevens and Jackson Browne. His introspective lyrics are a perfect fit for the folk, country, and vintage rock and roll vibes that emanate from the music.
This is the fourth studio album from Friedman in his second act as a singer/songwriter. He took a 25-year hiatus from the music business and ultimately returned to the fold with 2014s The Waiting Sky.
