Regarded as global leaders of the live-electronic music movement, when RUFUS DU SOL drops a new single, people notice. The band returns with its first new music since 2018’s Grammy-nominated SOLACE album.
‘Alive’ is expected to be included on RUFUS DU SOL’s as yet announced fourth studio effort. The lead track gives the fans an idea of what direction they’ll be taking on the record. No release date has been announced for the project.
It’s a heavier song in some ways, but at its core it’s hopeful. We are – all of us – living in this transitional moment right now and we wanted to focus on the hope that the future holds for us all. To focus on the light at the end of this tunnel.

Along with a brand new single is a highly anticipated return to the stage. The band’s festival itinerary includes stops at Bonnaroo, Gov Ball, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands Festival. RUFUS’ fall tour includes stops in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Houston. Tickets to many of the festival shows are on sale now while select tour dates will be available on July 16.
