Foo Fighters Carrying On The Foo Fighters family dealt with unimaginable tragedy in 2022 with the loss of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Obvious questions in regard to the future of the band were on our minds but not asked out loud out of respect. The band posted to their social media channels on New Year's Eve a note of reflection. The Foo Fighters have announced a new greatest hits collection and there's no shortage of material to choose from. In the wake of the tragic passing of long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins, the 19-song album will be available on October 28th on Sony Legacy Records. SONY Legacy Records Nirvana disbanded in 1994 after the death of Kurt Cobain. From there, Dave Grohl fielded offers to play drums with a number of high-profile acts.
