London-based independent folk-punk rockers Skinny Lister are gearing up for the release of the band's highly anticipated sixth studio album. Titled Shanty Punk, the album is set to drop on Friday, October 20 via Xtra Mile Recordings. The LP promises a raucous blend of chest-thumping anthems, shanty sing-a-longs, and folk/punk classics that should be experienced in a live setting.
Shanty Punk is a concept album that perfectly represents Skinny Lister's signature sound. Written and recorded by the band themselves, the album was mixed by Patrick Phillips and Daniel Heptinstall. The project was mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios by Frank Arkwright.
