They’ve had some massive hits but do they belong in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? Nickelback’s debut album Curb was released on May 15, 1996.
4. Fiona Apple
Fiona Apple’s debut album Tidal would see the release of six singles including the iconic ‘Criminal’. Released in 1996 it wouldn’t be until two years later that she’d take home a Grammy for the track.

Legendary rapper Ghostface Killah first made a name for himself as a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. He released his debut solo album Ironman on October 26, 1996.
