British rock veterans Asking Alexandria are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated eighth studio album Where Do We Go From Here? The band, known for its explosive energy and captivating performances, has spent the past 15 years solidifying its position as one of the top international rock acts.
Where Do We Go From Here? is an 11-track album that showcases the culmination of the band’s career. It is due out August 25 via Better Noise Music. Produced and mixed by Matt Good, he’s known for his work with Hollywood Undead and From First To Last. The album was mastered by industry veterans Howie Weinberg and Will Borza and seamlessly blends the band’s signature sound with experimental electronics. Lyrically, the album explores themes of disenchantment, loss, anxiety, and dejection, which are synonymous with the band’s trademark style.
Asking Alexandria’s Journey
Lead guitarist Ben Bruce shares his excitement about the album. He stated, “Where Do We Go From Here? is the culmination of our entire journey as a band. We have taken elements from every single record we have ever written and pieced them all together to create one album. Our fans will find elements from our earliest work, such as the synth-tinged breakdown on ‘Things Could Be Different.’ All the way through to our most recent release, ‘See What’s On The Inside.’ This album delves into themes of struggle, hope, and finding inner strength. We are incredibly proud of it, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
The album features tracks such as the first official radio single, “Psycho,” which has already made waves in the rock community. Now we have the release of another notable new track, “Bad Blood.” The song has been released alongside its lyric video, showcasing the band’s heavy-hitting style.
On Tour
To support the album, Asking Alexandria will embark on an extensive U.S. tour. Cleverly named the “Psycho Thunder” tour, they’ll get the show on the road on August, 30th. This run of shows will include performances alongside The HU, Bad Wolves, and Zero 9:36. The band will also make appearances at several festivals along the way.
