The new album is out now and the wait is over for the big tour announcement. Jukebox The Ghost will be hitting the road this fall in support of Cheers.
The tour is set to kick off September 28th at Union Transfer in Philadelphia and run through October 18th at Neptune in Seattle. Thankfully they have a number of shows booked between now and then so fans can experience their new songs in person (sooner than later).
On June 2nd they’ll be performing an album release show at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn. They’ll be streaming that show live on YouTube. That link can be found here. Other highlights include a June 25th date at the WYEP Summer Music Festival in Pittsburgh, The Gaslight Festival on Nantucket on August 2nd, and The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey on September 2nd.
Juke Box The Ghost New Album Cheers
The piano-driven alt-pop trio consists of Ben Thornewill (piano/vocals), Tommy Siegel (guitar/bass/vocals), and Jesse Kristin (drums/vocals). They’ve delivered an album full of catchy anthems, a near-perfect soundtrack for summer.
Jukebox The Ghost began the recording of the album during the early days of the pandemic. While quarantining together for six months, they self-produced the new material. The outcome is a collection of songs full of memorable choruses and uplifting melodies. The band incorporates theatrical undertones while maintaining a modern sensibility.
Highlights to check out first include “Wasted” featuring Andrew McMahon, the title track “Cheers!” and “Hey Maude“. But we suspect you’ll find some other gems to add to your playlists on this 13-track new release.
