In their highly anticipated return to the road, The Blue Stones have announced a big summer tour that will visit cities and towns coast to coast. Hidden Gems is their second full-length release and you can expect to hear plenty of music from that and their debut album Black Holes.
The Blue Stones are a dynamic rock and roll duo. The full sound coming from guitarist Tarek Jafar and Justin Tessier can be deceiving. Mainly because it sounds like there are twice as many if not more people in the group.
On Hidden Gems, they teamed with Mutemath frontman Paul Meany. Sure, his band is awesome but he’s gained an immense amount of respect in recent years as a producer too. Most notably for his work with Twenty One Pilots on their Trench album as well as the one-off single “Level of Concern” which was released at the height of the onset of the pandemic.
Blue Stones Announce Coast To Coast Tour That Kicks off May 9th
As for tour details, Jafar and Tessier had a hard time keeping the info on the down-low. They stated ‘it was hard to keep this one a secret, especially because our fans kept asking for it not knowing it was already in the works. It’s the Rock and Roll tour of the year, hands down.’
They’ll get things started in native Canada on May 9th in Montreal. They’ll wrap up north of the border on May 26th and take a two-week break before kicking back into gear on June 10th in Milwaukee. The co-headlining jaunt with New York City’s Des Rocs will run through the end of July. Highlights include shows in New York City and Los Angeles along with a performance at the WonderRoad Festival in Indianapolis.

And consider checking out their “Shakin’ Off The Rust” music video below if you’re looking for some newish rock and roll jams. Released in November of 2019, the video features Jafar and Tessier rocking out in virtual reality. These guys have a great vibe, can’t wait to hear what’s next from this rockin’ duo.
