Genre-defying quintet Rainbow Kitten Suprise has gotten on a lot of people’s radar over the last few years. And for good reason. Their innovative songs have connected with fans and now the band looks forward to 2022.
Just two years ago they played Red Rocks on a one-night stand and it took around a week to sell out. This time around they sold out two straight nights in just a few minutes. Not to mention the fact they’ve teamed with PLUS1 who are seeing to it that $1 from each ticket goes to support Food Bank of the Rockies, helping to fight hunger in the community.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise will be closing out the year with a three-night sold-out run at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville December 26-28 followed by a New Year’s Eve show at The Anthem in Washington D.C.
Plans are starting to come together for a big 2022. In addition to the two sold-out nights at Red Rocks, the band will be playing at the Shaky Kees Music Festival in Atlanta, Georgia on April 29th.
RKS formed in 2013 and built up a loyal fanbase along the way. Their debut album came a few months after forming with RKS dropping in 2015. By 2018 and the release of How To: Friend, Love, Freefall, featuring the single “Fever Pitch”, they found themselves on the radio and racking up millions of YouTube views. Earlier this year RKS! Live From Athens Georgia was released, marking their first-ever live album.
