Get To Know Flogging Molly

Flogging Molly’s current lineup comprises Dave King (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, bodhran), Bridget Regan (violin, tin whistle, vocals), Dennis Casey (guitar, vocals), Matt Hensley (accordion, concertina, vocals), Nathen Maxwell (bass guitar, vocals), Spencer Swain (mandolin, banjo, guitar, vocals), and Mike Alonso (drums, percussion).

Flogging Molly’s journey to punk rock icon status began as the house band for Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles. With endless time on the road, the band has built a loyal following over the past two decades. They kicked off their recording career with the riotous debut album, Swagger. From there they continued their punk journey with six additional studio albums.

Anthem

Flogging Molly’s most recent album, Anthem, was released in September 2022 via Rise Records. The album saw the band reunite with legendary engineer Steve Albini, who worked with Flogging Molly on their first two albums Swagger and Drunken Lullabies. In turn, the album was met with much critical acclaim.

The band recently dropped a new three-song ‘Til The Anarchy’s Restored (Rise Records) on March 10. The EP features the previously unreleased title track and one-take performances of the band’s classic songs, “Drunken Lullabies” and “What’s Left of the Flag.”

Flogging Molly’s annual Salty Dog Cruise, which sets sail on November 8, has already sold out. The cruise will feature performances by Pennywise, The Interrupters, Stiff Little Fingers, and many more. With their punk rock prowess and electrifying live shows, Flogging Molly continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
