With the situation improving in the U.S., and plenty of pent-up demand, there is no shortage of music festivals to choose from this year. While Coachella and Burning Man have decided to punt until 2022, here’s a look at seven big shows that are moving forward.
7. LOCKN
Festival organizers have gotten creative with the Virginia held LOCKN Music Festival. While some fans will undoubtedly miss the old format, much respect for trying something new. Instead of one large scale event this fall, they’re having three weekend shows in August with headliners JRAD, Goose & Tedeschi Trucks.
6. The Peach Music Festival
Taking place annually in Scranton, PA this jam band-themed festival has a stacked lineup from top to bottom. If you’re into that kind of thing.
5. Austin City Limits
ACL is taking place at Zilker Park in Austin, TX, the festival has grown to two weekends, eight stages, and over 130 bands.
4. Firefly
Finally a reason to go to Delaware. Billie Eilish, The Killers, Lizzo and many others will be serving up a memorable weekend in Dover this September.
3. Outside Lands
Taking place this October in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, we’d love to meet Ranger Dave.
2. Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza returns to Grant Park in Chicago with one of it’s most diverse lineups yet. Miley, Post Malone AND Journey on the same bill? Sign us up. If we could afford all these festivals that is.
1. Bonnaroo
Taking place September 2-5, Bonnaroo is celebrating their 20th year on the farm. They went big on the lineup this year and tickets are already sold out.
