It's the 20th Anniversary of the Tribeca Film Festival and, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, this year anybody in the United States can still sign up and enjoy streaming movies from the comfort of home. For New Yorkers, there are plenty of in-person screenings this year, but I am going to focus on recommending how can you attend virtually. There are four ways to buy passes for online screenings. Black Note Graffiti Set To Release New Music Video For ‘Knights’

Black Note Graffiti fuses prog metal with alternative rock vibes. They're set to drop a brand new music video for their hard driving single 'Knights'. The Ann Arbor, MI quartet will unveil the project on June 18. The track is featured on their new EP Volume III Rise. The band consists of Gabrielle Bryant (vocals/keys), Kris Keller (guitar/vocals), Kurt Keller (drums), Ricardo Ortiz (vocals/guitar) and Adam Nine (bass). Bryant was behind the concept for the video. The Metrograph is one of the country's finest art house theaters. Their physical NYC location is still closed through at least September, they have been delivering fascinating programming through their website. Last week, they launched an app that easily allows for television viewing and is available for Apple TV, FireTV, and Roku devices. Films are available within the United States for streaming, some are scheduled live events and others can be viewed on-demand for a specific period of time. Flaming Lips To Release Rare Promo Album On Record Store Day

The Flaming Lips are a sight to behold. If you've never experienced them live in concert, you might want to dip your toe in that pool. The band is set to release a collection of music that was once only available to friends and a handful of radio program directors. The Soft Bulletin Companion was originally released in 1999 as a promo-only CD to accompany the band's Soft Bulletin campaign. The album features previously unreleased material, outtakes, b-sides, and more. This collection of music will be available on vinyl for the first time ever on Saturday for Record Store Day First Drop. The set is limited to just 16,000 copies. Guitar Virtuoso Robben Ford Announces Late Summer Album Release

Widely known for his work with performers like Joni Mitchell, George Harrison and Phil Lesh, five-time Grammy nominee Robben Ford will release a new album of instrumental material on August 27. Pure is his first collection of instrumental music since 1997's Tiger Walk. The album features nine tracks with hints of jazz, blues, and rock & roll. The talented Nate Smith, Toss Panos, and Shannon Forest are all featured on the record. Born out of the Nereids who were attendants to Poseidon in Greek mythology, the mythological figures known as Undines were water nymphs who first turned up in the works of Swiss author Paracelsus. These spirits lived underwater but became human if they fell in love with a man. On the flip side, they were ultimately doomed to die if he was not faithful. German filmmaker Christian Petzold ("Phoenix," "Transit") has taken this lore as inspiration for an imaginative fable set in Berlin. The 42nd Blues Awards presented by The Blues Foundation will take place on Sunday via virtual celebration. Tune in starting at 5 PM EST for special guest appearances and surprise performances along with the awards. The show will be hosted by Big Llou and will feature winners across 25 different categories.
