Meat Puppets Set For Live Album Release, Prep For Mudhoney Tour Dates
Things are heating up for iconic rockers The Meat Puppets. On May 6th, they're set to release a new live album Meat Puppets Live Manchester 2019. The following week they'll kick off a string of tour dates with Mudhoney. Our only complaint is that they won't be hitting more cities together.
In 2019 The Meat Puppets hit the road with three original members. Curt Kirkwood (guitar), Cris Kirkwood (bass), and Derrick Bostrom (drums) were joined by Elmo Kirkwood (guitar) and Ron Stabinsky (keyboards). The tour was not without challenges. However, band leader Curt Kirkwood stated, "playing together night after night, listening to the music evolve, more than makes up for it".
