Powerhouse rock band Nothing More has collaborated with Lacey Sturm, singer/songwriter from Flyleaf, on their latest single. The result of their collaboration is a new version of “Best Times.” The track is featured on their 2022 album, Spirits.
The accompanying music video was directed by Michael Lombardi. He’s known for his work with bands like The Retaliators, Papa Roach, and The HU. The video provides an inside look at a couple’s relationship and how life’s best times can often pass us by without us even realizing it. The video serves as a reminder to appreciate those moments as they occur.
“This song is a really special one,” says Nothing More frontman Jonny Hawkins. “It’s definitely one of the most positive feel-good songs we’ve ever written and it obviously stands out on the album by being that ray of hope too. We knew her voice would take it over the top… and that’s exactly what she did!”
Nothing More On Tour
Nothing More’s SPIRITS 2023 tour features supporting acts Crown The Empire and Thousand Below. The run kicks off on March 31st in Richmond, VA, and concludes with the band’s featured set at Sonic Temple festival on May 28th. The band will then make their way overseas to hit several of the top rock festivals across Europe. Fans can catch them at Hellfest in France, KNOTFEST in Italy, and Graspop in Belgium.
The band’s debut graphic novel SPIRITS VOL.1 will be available for purchase on their upcoming tour dates. The narrative follows the lives of four individuals from 1952 to the modern day, examining how the unexpected manifestation of their spirit types alters and shapes their destinies for a greater purpose.
Grammy-nominated Nothing More has earned its reputation for releasing unapologetically massive anthems. They’re known for writing songs with catchy hooks while utilizing thought-provoking emotional lyrics and melodic hooks throughout their catalog. Spirits capture the tumultuous times the world has experienced over the past two years. Their latest material documents the desperation and isolation of lockdown, the spiral of substance abuse, the pain of broken relationships, and survival in self-reliance.
