South Park is one of America’s longest-running series. They’ll be celebrating a quarter-century on air with a big show featuring Trey Parker & Matt Stone, Primus, and Ween. This one-night-only event will take place Wednesday, August 10th at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The ticket reservation period is underway now and will close soon.
South Park debuted on Comedy Central on August 13th, 1997, and has gone on to win a number of Emmy Awards along with a Peabody Award. The show revolves around the misadventures of Kyle, Stan, Cartman, Kenny, and a number of other hilarious characters in the fictional Colorado town of South Park.
The show was the first weekly program to earn the TV-MA rating meaning it’s intended for mature audiences only. South Park has garnered controversy along the way but has stood the test of time.
“All characters and events in this show, even those based on real people– are entirely fictional. All celebrity voices are impersonated, poorly. The following program contains coarse language and due to its content it should not be viewed by anyone.”
