New York Rockers Bad Mary To Release Rock and Roll Classics Tribute Album

They’ve got exciting new songs in the pipeline. But New York rockers Bad Mary are paying tribute to hit music from our past on their next release, Rock and Roll Classics: Volume 6. Due March 6th, you can expect to hear a fresh take on Blondie’s “One Way Or Another”, Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit”, The Police’s “Next To You” among others.

Bad Mary is a talented group of musicians whose lineup is a little on the unconventional side. Composed of lead vocalist Amanda Mac, her husband Mike Staub is featured on bass. The family connection doesn’t end there. Mac’s father Bill is the holds it down on drums. While her Hofstra University professor David Henderson rounds out the lineup playing guitar.

Classic Songs With a Punk Rock Attitude

“Some of these songs we have been performing live for years and others are songs that we always wanted to play. They are all songs we love, and we wanted to put a unique punk-rock spin on them. Due to our band being multigenerational, our influences come from a lot of places. Whether it is the 70s, 80s, 90s, or 00s, all of these songs hit us at important times in our lives”
