Lollapalooza Confirms Return For 2021, Lineup Announced

The iconic Lollapalooza Festival was forced to cancel last year in the face of the pandemic. They've come roaring back to life with a lineup announcement and ticket information. Set to take place July 29 through August 1 in Grant Park in Chicago, tickets are on sale now. The four-day event will feature big names like Foo Fighters, Post Malone, and Miley Cyrus. The full lineup can be viewed here. Lollapalooza was founded in 1991 when organizer Perry Ferrell conceived of the idea as a farewell tour for his band, Janes Addiction. Based on the 2018 novel of the same name, "The Woman In The Window" has had a long and troubled road to release. It was originally scheduled to hit theaters in the fall of 2019, but hit two major snags along the way. Test audiences rated the film poorly enough that portions were reshot and re-edited. Originally a 20th Century Fox release, it also had the misfortune of being one of the last Fox projects sitting unreleased when Disney took over. The new regime kicked it to the curb and it ended up in the hands of Netflix.
