The Grammy Awards are set for this weekend and producers have just announced a stacked lineup of performers. Airing Sunday on CBS at 8 PM and streaming on the new Paramount+, music’s biggest night will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah. According to a press release this year’s show will serve as a tribute to independent venues. Behind the scenes, workers from some of the countries most iconic venues will serve as presenters in categories throughout the evening.

Black Pumas were nominated in 2020 for Best New Artist and had it not been for Billie Eilish taking the award home we might be having a different discussion. They’re back this year with three nominations in categories like Record of the Year, Best American Roots Performance, and Album of the Year.
There are few artists who have had a bigger half-decade than Post Malone. He has yet to win a Grammy but has won plenty of other awards. Perhaps this is his year, he’s nominated in the Song, Album, and Record of the Year categories. Malone is incredibly versatile and may opt to show off a little taste of everything on awards night.
Brittany Howard got her start with Alabama Shakes and Thunderbitch but she’s carving out quite a solo legacy. Her debut solo album Jaime has reeled in five nominations. She’s an incredible performer not to be missed.
Like it or not Coldplay is one of the biggest acts on the planet. Frontman Chris Martin will take the stage and hope they get a chance to take home the Grammy for Album of the year for Everyday Life.
Mickey Guyton released her EP Bridges in September of 2020 and is nominated for Best Solo Country Song for ‘Black Life Me’.
