The Bloody Shame and the Mazzstock All Star Band are bringing a night of grunge, alternative rock, and classic favorites to The Falcon in Marlboro, NY, on Friday, November 27. Dubbed “Bloody Friday,” the Thanksgiving weekend celebration takes over the venue’s Underground Stage from 9 to 11 p.m.
The show promises a high-energy trip through decades of rock music, led by some familiar faces from the Hudson Valley music scene.
The Bloody Shame Celebrates the Glory Days of ’90s Rock
Remember when the internet was dial-up and Seattle ruled rock radio? The Bloody Shame certainly does. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Di Moriarty, the band brings the sounds of the 1990s back to life. Expect plenty of grunge, alternative rock, and heavy guitar-driven favorites inspired by the Seattle scene.
The lineup features several longtime collaborators from the Hudson Valley music community.
Bassist Dave Heinzinger and drummer Anthony Defraia bring more than two decades of experience with Alpha Male Gorillas. Meanwhile, guitarists Vinny Pomarico and Sean Fitch have shared stages through projects including Space Dragon and Das Super Gruppen. Kevin McDonnell rounds out the band on percussion and backing vocals.
Together, they deliver a celebration of one of rock music’s most influential decades.
Mazzstock All Star Band Joins the Party
The evening doesn’t stop with ’90s nostalgia. The Mazzstock All Star Band will expand the celebration with rock favorites spanning multiple generations. Big Lee Mazzola, host & heart-and-soul of the annual Mazzstock Music Festival, is to be joined by keyboardist Darren Denman and guitarist and vocalist Jason Gisser.
Additional special guests are also expected. For longtime followers of the Hudson Valley music scene, the lineup brings together musicians with deep connections to local bands and the Mazzstock community.
