The Adirondack Independence Music Festival returns to Lake George this Labor Day weekend with three days of jam, funk, rock, Americana and improvisational music.
Now celebrating its 11th year, the festival takes over the Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park from Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6. The downtown Lake George setting puts fans within walking distance of the village while offering a full outdoor festival experience at the southern end of the lake.
Moe. Leads a Deep 2026 Lineup
Moe. sits near the center of this year’s lineup with two nights and two sets each night. The longtime jam veterans will be joined by a broad mix of established touring acts and rising names. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, TAUK, The Floozies, Dogs In A Pile, Eggy, Deer Tick, Pink Talking Fish and Assembly of Dust are all scheduled to perform.
The bill also features BALTHVS, Jimkata, Grateful Dub, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Hayley Jane Band, Hogslop String Band, Hunter Root, Chestnut Grove, Hilltop, Capital Zen and Gubbulidis, the duo featuring Twiddle’s Zdenek Gubb and Mihali Savoulidis.
It makes for a lineup that stretches well beyond any single corner of the jam scene. Funk, bluegrass, psychedelic rock, Americana, electronic music and improvisation all have a place during the weekend.
Three Days and Two Stages in Lake George
One of the festival’s biggest advantages is its format. Music runs continuously across two side by side stages, cutting down on long breaks between performances. On Friday, gates open at noon and music begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday gates open at 11 a.m., with performances beginning at noon. Music continues until 11 p.m. each night.
The Festival Commons sits inside the 12.5 acre Charles R. Wood Park at the southern end of Lake George. The festival area itself covers roughly 2.5 acres, creating a setting large enough for a full weekend event while remaining close to the restaurants, hotels and attractions of Lake George Village.
Tickets and Festival Information
Three day general admission tickets are currently listed at $205 in advance, while three day VIP passes are $385. Single day GA tickets are $85, and single day VIP passes are $150. Prices increase for tickets purchased on the day of the show. VIP admission includes a private viewing area, VIP tent and bar, private bathrooms, snacks, discounted beverages and a meal each day.
The festival is open to all ages, and children 12 and younger receive free general admission when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The event takes place rain or shine. Lawn and camping chairs are permitted in the back half of the concert field. Outside food and drinks are generally prohibited, although each attendee may bring one unopened bottle of water or an empty plastic drinking bottle.
One More Big Weekend Before Summer Ends
Labor Day weekend always feels like the final major checkpoint of the summer concert season in the Northeast. Adirondack Independence Music Festival has built an increasingly strong tradition around that weekend.
With moe. anchoring a lineup that moves comfortably between jam, funk, Americana, electronic grooves and psychedelic music, the 2026 edition offers plenty of reasons to spend one more long weekend outside before summer begins to fade.
