Radiobot: Listen To Debut Single “This World’s On Fire”

Radiobot is a dynamic musical trio featuring Brett Scallions, Billy Harvey, and Eddie Wohl. They’re making waves with their debut original single. “This World’s On Fire” is available now on all major music platforms via TLG/Virgin Music Group. This and their previously released Bob Dylan cover gives listeners a taste of what’s to come from this exciting band. According to the trio, their debut album is set to drop in Spring 2024,

In a statement, the band expressed their intentions behind the single, stating, “At a time when the world certainly feels like it’s a mess, we hope listeners will enjoy the comical tongue-in-cheek lyrics in this song. That, along with the stomp beat, should get your booty shaking and have some fun with it.”

Adding an extra layer of entertainment, Radiobot has also released an animated video for “This World’s On Fire.” The band members share their excitement about seeing themselves as cartoons, highlighting the video’s potential to provide a comedic escape during challenging times.

The Journey of RadioBot: A Virtual Collaboration

Radiobot’s journey began in 2016 when Brett, Billy, and Eddie joined forces for a writing session. Despite initial conflicts in schedules and commitments, the trio reconvened in 2020, determined to overcome obstacles posed by lockdowns and distance. Embracing the age of the home studio, they collaborated virtually, using Zoom and FaceTime to create magic.

Brett Scallions, renowned as the original lead singer of Fuel, leads the trio with a rich musical background, having performed with legends like Slash and The Doors. Billy Harvey, described as “the most famous person you’ve never heard of,” brings his diverse talents as a producer and side man to the mix. Eddie Wohl, a five-time Emmy Award-winning songwriter and producer, rounds out the trio with a wealth of experience in the music industry.

What to Expect in 2024: Concrete and Desert

Looking ahead, Radiobot has exciting plans for 2024 with the release of two forthcoming albums, Concrete and Desert. The band’s creative process, spearheaded by Brett’s riff-driven approach, promises an eclectic mix of sounds and influences.

As a unique blend of talent, experience, and creativity, Radiobot is poised to leave a lasting mark on the music scene. Stay tuned for their upcoming releases and witness three musical forces creating something truly extraordinary.
