Millennials, Are You Feeling Old Yet? (Happy 20th Birthday to these Emo Albums from 2004)

Ahhh, yes, 2004: a year characterized by Bratz dolls, Shrek 2, The Da Vinci Code...and emo kids. It almost feels like yesterday, yet we're talking about a time from two decades ago. Let us rip that bandage off for you: 2004 is now as far away from today as 2044. Freaky, right? So, why are we talking about 2004? Well... 2004 was an important year for music, of course! It was an especially important year if you were an OG emo kid. After all, many of the subculture's defining albums were released in the early-mid 2000's. This includes artists who are still selling out tours and indoctrinating a whole new generation of emo kids to this day. If you need a refresher on the bangers of yesterday, here are some of our favorite emo albums (from 2004) that are turning 20 this year. Oof. Say ...

But, the funny part is, most of the band was born in ‘97, so we were really only 3."  Turns out, the members of Wilmette were nostalgic from a young age… a very young age…  What's up next for Wilmette? If you’re looking for more musi...

The Frst is Bringing the Heat this Summer with “Bruce Lee,” ft. Kellin Quinn & Bronnie (INTERVIEW)

Our favorite Nashville-based alt rockers, The Frst, are back again this summer with another banger: “Bruce Lee." This latest song is a collaboration with pop punk legend, Kellin Quinn (Sleeping with Sirens), and British pop-rock queen, Bronnie. This song serves as further proof that The Frst can tackle guitar music from any genre-defying angle they choose--including going as far as dropping 'producer tags' in the opening few beats. The result is always fun. See for yourself-- Check out "Bruce Lee" on Spotify, below. https://open.spotify.com/album/2HJsL2fH2nuMGmEEs9HdvN?si=fjkG7AlAS72LnqrpIa3nUw&nd=1 A Collaboration of Epic Proportions This song is the result of some epic collaborators coming together, so we took some time to get together with singer...

New Mayday Parade: ‘More Like A Crash’ Hits Hard

Photo Credit: Salma Bustos Tallahassee-based Mayday Parade is back with its latest single, "More Like A Crash." This marks their first release since their 2021 album What It Means to Fall Apart. The song delves into the chaos and pain of endings, particularly in personal relationships, capturing the sense of being lost in the wreckage. After fulfilling their record deal, Mayday Parade decided to take control of their music careers, operating on their own terms and timeline. This move brings them back to a space they haven't fully occupied since their self-released debut EP. This newfound flexibility allows the band to prioritize their personal lives while providing more freedom and control over their music. They aim to release new music more consistently rather than dropping albums ...

5 Fan Reactions To How Expensive Blink 182 Concert Tickets Are

The internet has been buzzing since we learned that Tom Delong has returned to Blink 182. There's a new song "Edging" to be excited about and a world tour planned for 2023 & 2024. One area that has fans a little confused is ticket prices.
