Rumors have been swirling about a new album from The Offspring for nearly three years. The wait has come to an end with the release of the up-tempo ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’. Along with the release of the new single, the full album is set for an April 16 release.
The genre bending punk rockers formed in the mid-80s but it wasn’t until their 1994 breakthrough album Smash did they become a near house hold name. Recent years have seen the band sell off the rights to their music for a cool $30 million and the unfortunate departure of longtime bassist Greg K.
Dexter and Noodles will carry the band into their very respectable fifth decade of making music. They announced last year that the album was done and that they were looking for the right record label to release it to the public.
‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ is their first in nine years and is the follow up to 2012’s Days Go By. So turn this one up and let us know what you think.
